Frequently Asked Questions

 

WHEN CAN I ENROLL/WHEN DOES THE SESSION START?

Families can enroll at any time (as long as there is space available in the class). The first month is always prorated from the date that you enroll.  

 

WHEN CAN MY CHILD MOVE TO THE NEXT LEVEL?

We host class evaluations January, May, and September every year. Keep in mind that each child moves, grows, and learns at their own pace.  While some children may move through the levels quickly, others may take longer, as every child is different and no two kids are exactly alike! Once a child masters the skills in their current level, the child will be awarded a band of congratulations by their coach and can move up to the next level! Just give us a call and we will move them up to the class the best fits your schedule!

 

REFUND POLICY:

Rec Classes:
We cannot refund for classes missed. Each child enrolled is holding a spot in the class and must pay for their spot.  Our new system, rock gym pro, also doesn't track makeup classes any longer unfortunately. What we do suggest though is if you're aware you'll be missing classes consistently the next month utilize our new punch card system! We can freeze a membership while you change temporarily to a punch card system.

Competition Team (M/W/F):

Competition team is a time commitment. As such, competitive ninjas are expected to attend their regularly scheduled practices. Should team athletes want to catch up on any missed work, they may utilize their included open gym membership for such reasons or schedule a private lesson with their coach (please note private lessons are extra).

Do you offer makeup classes or punch cards for missed classes?

Beginning January 2026, our new membership system does not support individual makeup tokens or punch cards for missed student absences. Because of this system limitation, we will no longer be able to issue makeup credits for classes missed due to personal scheduling conflicts, illness, or travel.

Will I receive credit if the gym is closed?

Yes! If Iron Sports must close for any reason—such as holidays, severe weather, staff training, or major competitions—we will automatically issue a Punch Card Credit to your account.

  • These credits can be used for Open Gym or a class of your choice.

  • Credits remain valid for 6 months from the date they are issued.

  • These are only provided when the gym is unable to operate, not for personal absences.

This new system allows us to provide a consistent, fair process for all members while maintaining high-quality programming and coaching.

 

WHAT TO BRING:

Please send your child to class with closed toe shoes, athletic attire, and a labeled water bottle. We have a water fountain available for children to refill at. 

 

CAN I WORKOUT WHILE MY KID TRAINS:

Yes! Iron Sports prides themselves on being a family friendly fitness facility for all ages and abilities. Parents have a few options while their kids are in class...

  • Weight Room Day Pass $5/day

  • Weight Room Only Membership $25/month

  • Open Gym Membership $62/month

 

CAN MY KID/MYSELF TRAIN MORE AFTER CLASS:

We do offer an open gym add on for our members at a discount! Add open gym to your account for $30/month.

Payment Policies

 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Monthly tuition is charged on the of 1st each month. For new members an annual registration fee ($35) will also . Should you decide you no longer want our services it is your responsibility to inform us (please see our Withdrawal Policy). Should you not inform us, even if your child does not attend classes, you will still be charged the monthly tuition fee as you are holding a spot in our classes that could be given to another child. Refunds will not be given. 

 

TUITION POLICY:

A credit or debit card is required to be on file in order for your child to participate in classes at Iron Sports. The Tuition Fee for the current month is due at the time of registration. Each month, on the first day of the month, your monthly tuition will be automatically charged to your chosen payment method, which must be saved on your account. Due to limited spots available, families who are not current with their tuition may lose their spot in their current class and will need to pay in order to re-enroll. 

 

CASH/CHECK PAYMENTS:

If you wish to pay with cash or check, you may do so, however, all cash/check payments must be made/received before the 30th or 31st of the month, or the credit card saved to your account will be charged. 

 

ENROLLMENT FEE:  

A one time enrollment fee of $35 per child is due at the time of enrollment.  This enrollment fee is due every time a *new* enrollment is created. If you're a member and wanting to avoid this you can do so by freezing your membership instead. Those who have paid this fee are officially "Members" and can may receive special membership benefits and discounts on birthday parties, events, and more. This fee is non-refundable.

Note: This won't go into account until January 2026 as we're transferring systems currently. Join now to save and avoid this fee!

 

LATE FEE:

Iron Sports offers a 7 day grace period for tuition due. After that, a $10 late fee will be incurred if payment has not been received by the 8th of each month. 

 

CAN I FREEZE AN ACCOUNT:

We can now freeze memberships to temporarily suspend a member's full membership privileges while maintaining their account for $5 per month. This is typically used for reasons like vacations or injuries, preventing the member from being billed for full dues or accessing the gym during the freeze period. When the freeze ends, the membership can be automatically resumed and normal billing will restart, with a prorated charge for the first billing cycle, and no enrollment fee requirement ($35).

 

WITHDRAWAL POLICY:

To discontinue enrollment, you must withdraw prior to the upcoming monthly invoice cycle. We cannot refund for days that your child was enrolled but did not attend. 

 

BIRTHDAY CANCELLATION:

At Iron Sports we do require a $125 non-refundable birthday party deposit to reserve your day and time. This deposit is not refundable, but in the case of an emergency we can put it towards something else at our gym — like a private lesson, classes, or future events.

FIELD TRIP CANCELLATION:

At Iron Sports we do require a $250 non-refundable birthday event deposit to reserve your day and time. This deposit is not refundable, but in the case of an emergency we can put it towards something else at our gym — like a private lesson, classes, or future events.
